Lions Club of Tirupattur Host was chartered in 1975 under Lions Clubs International — the world's largest service club organization. Over five decades, our members have united around one singular purpose: to uplift the people of Tirupattur through selfless voluntary service.
In 2025, we proudly celebrate our Golden Jubilee — 50 remarkable years of serving our community. Our chapter operates under the guiding motto "We Serve," channelling the dedication of our 90+ active members into programs that address hunger, vision, health, environment, and more.

Annual Free Eye Screening Camp
Providing comprehensive vision tests, free spectacles, and referrals for surgeries to over 500 residents annually in underserved neighbourhoods.
Environment
Green Tirupattur: Tree Plantation Drive
Planting 1,000 native saplings across city parks, schools, and roadsides every year, along with ongoing maintenance and awareness workshops.
Hunger
Community Food Distribution
Weekly hot meal distribution to migrant workers and daily wage earners in Tirupattur, supporting over 200 families every week.
Health
Annual Blood Donation Drive
Organising bi-annual blood donation camps in collaboration with Government Hospital, Tirupattur — collecting over 300 units per camp.
Education
Lions Merit Scholarship Program
Awarding annual scholarships to meritorious students from economically weaker sections across Tirupattur district — 80 students supported so far.
Diabetes
Diabetes Screening & Awareness
Free blood glucose screenings, HbA1c tests, and nutrition counselling in partnership with local hospitals to combat rising diabetes rates.
